  • Overview

    The 2023E NRT Lite is a small self-contained datalogger with in-built Satellite LDR Modem which connects to sensors in the field, collects readings from those sensors, and transmits the collected data to a central server via the Inmarsat Regional Beam / message based service

    The central Neon server system is provided on a Neon Data Service (hosted) basis and on a Neon Client System (customer owned) basis and provides a central computer system to monitor and receive data from many NRT units in the field.
    The 2023E NRT Lite logger/RTU is designed to automate collection of remote data from environmental monitoring, industrial measurements, and utility metering via the Inmarsat Satellite Network utilising the Inmarsat regional beam message based service.

    Bi-directional communications are enabled via the Neon server using short messages available on the IDP interface. Inputs include analog, digital and some serial interface protocols.

    The 2023E NRT Lite datalogger/RTU suits very low data rate high latency applications, for example daily or hourly reporting from a single sensor.

    The 2023E NRT Lite datalogger/RTU is housed inside a small enclosure complete with a very convenient antenna which does not require pointing directly at the satellite.

    The 2023E NRT Lite / RTU can also be used as a low cost independent watchdog for very remote higher capacity Neon Satellite or Neon 3G telemetry systems
