35.1 Error in LDBLK/MVBLK Instructions
35.2 Error in Extended Put/Write RS-232 Starlog Protocol Commands
Problem
This problem affects the following:
- All Starloggers with a firmware version earlier than 22.10.
- All Starflows with a firmware version earlier than 41.8.
- All Microloggers with a firmware version earlier than 61.2.
Macro loggers are NOT affected.
In the loggers listed above, the LDBLK and MVBLK scheme instructions and the Extended Put/Write Starlog Protocol Commands are unable to write multiple bytes into memory above 64K. The first byte will transfer successfully, the rest will not.
Note that the Extended Get/Read RS-232 Starlog Protocol Commands already work correctly.
Please Note! These problems do not affect standard operation of loggers or any of the standard Unidata software. They are only of interest to customers who use these features in custom schemes.
Correction
(Only necessary for customers with custom schemes). Upgrade to the latest firmware.
