MicroWire - Model 6122A Issues

32.1 MicroWire Configuration Problems
Notes
When you configure the MicroWire (STARFLOW) you select MicroWire, Address, Scaling and you must say “No. of DATA to send” = 1.
If this is set as two (2), then two DATA are sent to the MicroWire and the Addr 108 data will appear on the 2nd MicroWire channel (which is probably not fitted). So the “No of DATA to Send” must equal the number of MicroWire channels fitted.
This is complicated because the channel shifts along (in serial I/O).
32.2 Overwriting of MicroWire CDT Settings
Problem
In the template file PDL6526.CDT (system file directory) there is a command that forces the MicroWire configuration OFF. This should not be necessary and could be deleted.
Correction
Delete the line “10 0x0030 0x0000” in the file PDL6526.CDT. This will stop the MicroWire setting being lost when a scheme is loaded.
