STARLOGGER - incorrect Counter settings

Problem

STARLOGGER Counter channels C1 and C3 are set to 8 bit mode instead of 16 bit mode (as inferred in the Release Notes).

Symptom

C1 (pin 24) and C3 (pin 25) counters appear to step by 256 instead of incrementing by 1.

Correction

1. To set C1 & C3 to 16 bit mode for all STARLOGGER Schemes, edit the file PDL.CDT and add the lines:-

   15 0 17 0

2. To set C1 & C3 to 16 bit mode for a particular Scheme only, edit that Scheme’s “General Details” and add to the Scheme Title:-

   Scheme Title (6004A 15 0 17 0) title etc. ......

Correction

1. This problem has been fixed in firmware version V21.3 which has been fitted to STARLOGGERs with Serial# above 400 or STARLOGGERs shipped from the factory after 3 June 1993.
2. To set C0 & C2 to 16 bit mode, the equivalent settings are:-

   14 0 16 0 **** must be set in Scheme Title (6004A 16 0)
