SEROUT Instruction Faulty

Problem
In Starloggers with V20 firmware, the SEROUT instructions DO NOT work.
Symptom
When executing the SEROUT logger instruction, the first bit of each byte is repeated (bits 1..7 are never transmitted).
Correction
Upgrade Starlogger to V21 firmware. (Performed free of charge at your Unidata service centre).
Note
- Starloggers dispatched from the factory after 30 May 1993 are fitted with V21 firmware.
- The Starlogger’s firmware revision is displayed on the first line of the Test Mode screen “PDL or MDL Information”. For Starloggers with an LCD display, the firmware revision is also displayed on the second line of the first screen.
