The parity error suggests that the data being recived is not the data transmittied from the Starflow. This problem could be caused by one of the following: Communications cable is faulty (replace). Windows Commport settings are not configured correctly. (com port settings should be: Bps = 9600, DataBits = 8, Parity = none, StopBits = 1, FlowControl = none). Starflow battery is low (not enough voltage to transmitt data correctly). For more info please contact support@unidata.com.au
