The Capacitive Water Depth probes are designed for high resolution measurement of fresh or salt water. They use the different dielectric characteristics of water and air to measure water depths.
The probes are calibrated to standard ranges and sealed. The probe may be submerged for short periods at a maximum depth of 2 metres.
This model contains integrated electronics and offset and gain adjustments.
The probe is easily disassembled for cleaning.
Salt water and high ionic water do not affect the accuracy of this probe. This probe is not designed for measuring non-ionic liquids such as hydrocarbons (e.g., petroleum).
