UNIDATA offers a complete range of data loggers to meet your exacting requirements.

As a major design development in the STARLOG range, the STARLOGGER has an expanded signal capacity and range, and easier programmability. The recent model STARLOGGERS include:

These models enhance the STARLOG family already sporting the successful Model 7000 MACRO Data Logger and Model 6003 Portable Data Logger.

STARLOG systems are used throughout the world in various applications. Because of their low power consumption, they are particularly well suited for automatic data collection in remote locations and at unmanned sites. STARLOG systems are:

  • robust
  • easy to use
  • low maintenance
  • versatile

The Data Logger is connected to measuring instruments and sensors for data gathering. A wide range of instruments is available from Unidata for different applications.

The Data Logger is connected to a computer for data unloading. For more information, see the section on Cables and Connectors.

Computer interfaces for remote or direct access to loggers are available. With recent breakthroughs in telecommunications, STARLOG is able to take full advantage of Remote Telemetry systems and Cellular Telephones. See the sections on Computers, Interfaces and Test Equipment and Communication Equipment.

To choose the model of STARLOG Data Logger best suited for your data logging project, consider both the duration of the project and the type of instrument to be used. The table below provides an overview of the features offered by each data logger.

Several new instruments incorporate a STARLOG compatible MicroLogger. Standard features of the MicroLogger are also listed in the table below for comparison.

Additional memory increases the amount of information a data logger can store prior to being unloaded. If a data logging project involves complex logging operations or long periods of monitoring without intervention, you will want to use a Logger with a larger memory size.

The STARLOG Software Package calculates the quantity of memory you will use in a given project and reports the period a logger will operate on site before it must be unloaded.
