Unidata has recently introduced the STARLOG Quick-Link («SQL») interconnection system. The STARLOG Quick-Link «SQL» system is Unidata’s high integrity, weatherproof interconnection system for STARLOG products. Whenever you see the «SQL» symbol, it signifies that the instrument or transducer connects to the Data Logger via a plug/socket connection.
All STARLOG products are able to use the «SQL» system. Even existing installations may be upgraded to enjoy the benefits of «SQL».
The «SQL» system is a means of connecting STARLOG instruments in a quick and efficient manner. An identification pack is available (supplied with every extension cable) which is used to colour code the cables and connectors of the data logging system.
The extension cables use Model 6600F (8-core shielded) cable and quality 7-pin weatherproof connectors fitted with a screw locking facility.
