This instrument measures net radiation (incoming total hemispherical radiation minus outgoing total hemispherical radiation) between 0.25 and 60µm wavelengths.
Used in evaportranspiration research, the Net Radiometer is calibrated to minimise errors caused by windshield temperatures. It generates a millivolt signal proportional to the net radiation level.
