Unidata offers two standalone anemometers to measure wind run in metres of wind passing the instrument. High accuracy is achieved by accumulating the pulses over a long period, e.g. 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Both instruments are recommended for use with the Evaporation Monitoring System (Model 6529-1). The Model 6503B has been designed to operate in very light breezes of 0.5m/s (2km/h) or less.
Constructed of resistant materials and components, the anemometers are able to withstand the effects of all climatic conditions. Both withstand wind speeds up to 41.6m/s (150km/h).
